June, 5 2004; Ashland, WI: - Mother Nature moved out to a 3-1 lead at the end of the first quarter
of the 2004 racing season, as early morning rains left an already-saturated ABC Raceway unusable for Saturday nightıs racing
action
for the third straight week.
Weather permitting, track officials will try again to host their five-division WISSOTA-sanctioned program
on the three-eighths-mile red clay oval located south of Ashland, with hot laps starting at 6:30 pm and racing to get underway
at 7 next Saturday. The program will include the pure stock feature still to be made up from the May 15 opener. "Racenight
Live" will air from 5-6 pm Saturday on WJJH, 96.7 & 102.3 FM, with up-to-date track news and weather information.
